The blurb

Jorge is sixteen, an orphan, and practical about most things. When the girl who was closest to him disappears into the night moving faster than anyone should be able to move, he files it under things he cannot explain and tries to sleep.

But he can't.

His world is one of many, and every one of them turns around a star that is awake. The stars are aware. They sing, and what they sing shapes the worlds that orbit them. Almost nobody remembers this. Fewer still can hear it, and the rare few who can are changed by it.

Even still, the stars are going quiet. Nobody knows why yet.

The same workshop

Light, in both halves.

The shooting star in the Falling Stars mark and the phosphor orb on a WISPWARE watch face are the same motif twice. A falling star is a streak of phosphor. The books and the faces come out of one workshop with one taste.
